PAKISTAN | Shafaq Akhtar

My name is Shafaq Akhtar. I am an orthopaedic doctor working in Lahore, Pakistan.
Apart from being a doctor i am very active in the community by doing charity work for the underprivileged children in Pakistan. I am also planning to pursue my dream of opening her own clinic in the future, so that i could provide free medical services for the poor.
From a very young age i dreamt of being a beauty queen but medical school and studies kept me busy.
Today i am proud to not only be a doctor, but a role model to many girls who can pursue their studies along with living their dreams.
