First Filipina crowned Miss Elite by Stefano Douaihy
Juvyel Anne Saluta, a 20-year-old beauty queen from Manila, Philippines, made history by becoming the first Filipina to win the Miss Elite crown. She was crowned Miss Elite 2024 during the pageant’s coronation ceremony held on September 14, 2024, in Somabay, Egypt.
In addition to securing the title, Juvyel also received the Best Smile award.
Prior to her international success, Juvyel was crowned Hiyas ng Pilipinas-Continental World in 2023. She is a college student pursuing a degree in Tourism Management at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.
Her victory in Egypt adds to the Philippines’ reputation as a powerhouse in international beauty pageants.
