PERU | Pilar Orue

My full name is Karol Elizabeth del Pilar Orue Ramírez. I am an audiovisual communicator, professional model, K-Pop dancer and catwalk coach.

I think I was born in one of the best decades. In the nineties, the world of modeling, as well as the fashion and beauty market, began to stand out, being more inclusive, where we can find models like Naomi Campbell and Tyran Banks who inspired me to enter the world of modeling and beauty professionally.

I started in the world of fashion as a haute couture model, participating in big parades with important national brands. Later when I entered the world of beauty, I was captivated in such a way that to this day it is one of the things that I practice professionally with great passion.

It’s for this last reason that I was part of the candidates for Miss Peru 2017, reaching the Top 13 of 250 candidates. I also participated in the special edition Miss Peru 2019 “Queen of Queens” reaching the Top 6.

Also in my professional life, I have had the great opportunity to work within beauty organizations such as Miss Peru, the largest beauty brand in my country. Similarly, in its other franchises such as Miss Peru Lima Norte, Miss Peru Lima Sur, among others, where most of the candidates I prepared reached the top 5 in the national pageant (Miss Peru).

I currently work as a professional model for different brands, catwalk coach for beauty pageant such as model schools and communication and logistics analyst for an engineering and construction company. I also perform as the leader of my K-Pop cover group.

Value, fight and overcome, are words with which I feel identified since I consider that I am a woman of improvement.
