At first I will start by telling about my background. I have been raised in Finland but my roots are from Iran. Growing up in two very different cultures has been very beautiful but also very hard. But one thing I can say with confidence is that I wouldn’t be the girl I am today without all the difficulties I have went through. I’ve learned so much from these two rich cultures. It has taught me a lot, I can understand, listen and communicate with anyone; different age, different backgrounds and any gender. It has thought me that we should never judge anyone just by looking at them, we should always hear and listen to them in order to get to know each person. The beauty of knowing different cultures is that it gives tools for life, you learn to understand different behaviors and values that each person carries with themselves.

I grew up in a household that education was the most important thing. I studied in science line during secondary school years. I got several scholarships for having the best grades and then got to the best high school. I have studied six different languages; Finnish, English, Kurdish, Farsi, French and Swedish. After that I’ve had a few gap years working different jobs. I got a place at the airport as a security officer, which was one of the most enjoyable places I have ever worked at. I have also worked in different shopping centers trough these years. Right now I’m studying Business at Aalito open university, which is the best business university in Finland and also one of the best universities in the world. I’m also working at Stockmann, Finland’s biggest shopping mall.

The third thing that I want to tell about myself is my modeling life. Everything started in 2018 when I was around 15-16. We were at our family friends, and one of my mom’s friend asked her if I can start modeling with his brother who is a photographer. I tried it and he loved my work and we started working together. I immediately took a modeling course which took 6 month and after that we continued our work with my photographer, until COVID-19 hit. After everything was getting better, I started to be a model for a jewelry company named ”NS Handmade Jewelry” (ig: nshjewelry) in 2021. In 2022 I went for a modeling casting for my current agency Fashion Model Agency and there they asked me if I’m interested in beauty pageants and suggested me to apply for Miss Supranational Finland 2023. I got to the top 10 finalist and the whole competition took 6-7 month and I won Miss Supranational Finland 2023 1st runner up and also crowed favorite. After that I was suggested if I want to take part in Finnish beauty pageant named ”Pitsimissi” in summer 2023. Before Pitsimissi started I was having different photo shootings in summer 2023. Whole summer I was preparing myself for the upcoming pageant. There I didn’t win anything but it was a sweet experience.
After that I my model agency wanted to sent me for an international beauty pageant, also because I had got placed in Supra and now I’m here more grateful than ever and been doing modeling for over 6 years.

Then most important part that I want to tell about myself is my passion for pageantry. Ever since I started modeling I knew that this is what I want to do in my life. It has thought me a lot in life for examples being with different people, making new friends, doing charity, learning about myself more and getting more knowledge about fashion. Pageantry is much more, it is about woman’s inner beauty, which can mean being confident, knowing yourself, appreciating other girls and supporting them, knowing that the only person you should compete with is yourself and being the voice for those that don’t have one. Beauty pageants are also about fashion, beauty and new styles. My passion for pageantry comes also from the joy I get every time I’m on stage. Being on stage has always made me the happiest, I always tell my mom that the second I step on stage I feel like my life beings and I enjoy every second of it. Beauty pageants are an absolutely astonishing platform to spread the awareness of inner beauty, the pressure young people face in this generation and also to tell people that we are together and no one is alone.

Fashion and beauty. Those two have always been a big part of me. Since I remember I have always been reading Vogue and watching the latest fashions trends. Last year I also got a chance to designed my own dresses for a pageantry. Fashion doesn’t only mean styling different clothes, it is part of beautiful creation. Fashion means mixing new ideas and creating new styles. Especially growing up in two different cultures it has given me the chance to be very creative. My favorite styles are; elegant, chic, classy, modern and very unique styles. Since I was very young I have imagined different styles and then mixed it and created something very unique myself. Or I watched what is trendy and then try to put my own touch on it and make it very special. I have always got lot of compliment from my style and it makes me the happiest and gives me motivation to keep going.

Last but not least I want to thank for this amazing opportunity and how grateful I’m for this. I can’t wait to meet new girls from different backgrounds and improve myself. The most important things is to enjoy every moment, I can’t wait to start this journey and do the best I can do
