HONDURAS | Jazmin Rodriguez

I was born in Honduras 🇭🇳 both parents of Honduran heritage, tracing back to the Indigenous roots of the lenca, people. Also known as the native Indians of  Honduras. I came to the United States at the age of 5. I am the youngest of 8, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. I am the baby but I wasn’t spoiled, lol.

I was always very independent. I started my lemonade stand at 7, I had yard sales, book sales, sold Chocolates, because I always wanted to help my mother because I knew she was working almost 3 jobs to take care of us. so I didn’t ask for anything, instead I earned it myself.

As a teen I took an interest in law. I was a paralegal at the age of 16 and was working at the Queens criminal courthouse in New York.
I speak English and Spanish fluently but I’m hoping to get better on my French and learn more languages as I get older.

One day on my way to work I was scouted by an agent and auditioned for maxim magazine USA , I was selected among the finalist to get published in maxim magazine as one of New York city’s “Most beautiful women”.  Since then I’ve modeled for Mercedes’ Benz fashion week, Disney, paramount and became a member of the screen actors guild for actors. I’ve been in movies like “how to be single” “marry me” “John wick 3” and several other tv shows.

The Arts….i love all genres of music (except heavy metal), I love dancing, traveling and learning as much as I can from different cultures. History was always my favorite subject and easiest class to pass in school because I always wanted to learn about other countries and their history.

I love being a “Jane of all trades”. I can’t picture myself doing just one thing my entire life, I want to experience life and all it’s splendor….and only look back to see how far I’ve come.
I love to cook , but most importantly… I love to cook for others.
